New Community Church, Southampton, is looking for a youth worker who has a heart for 10–18-year-olds to be lifelong disciples of Jesus.
Our vision: To see the whole church following the way of Jesus, making disciples, and bringing life and transformation to every area of Southampton and beyond.
We are looking for a leader passionate about seeing young people grow in their faith and pioneering new ways to reach young people who don’t yet know Jesus.
You will be brilliant with young people, helping them become lifelong followers of Jesus. You will be pastoral, with a heart for discipleship. You will also be a pioneer, proactively seeking opportunities for outreach in schools and the community.
The post holder will be a committed Christian and currently be a member of New Community Church, Southampton, or be willing to become one.
The post will be full time, with a salary of £23000 - £27000.
We would also like to offer training opportunities to develop you in your role. The role is offered as 12-month fixed term contract, but we are hopeful that subject to funding, this will be able to be extended.
To apply for this role please email Elaine Davidson, our HR Manager at New Community Church (email@example.com) and Flora Hinks, our Head of Mission and Discipleship (Florah@newcommunity.org.uk). They will be able to provide you with an application pack.
